Piston Compressors

These are popular for intermittent
general-purpose “workshop air” applications

where air is used for hand tools, cleaning dust,

small paint jobs, etc.

Compressors

Piston compressors operate on a basic principle: they use a piston to move the air inside a cylinder and compress it.

These compressors are available in lubricated and oil-free versions. Most of them use two cylinders, one for low pressure and the other for high pressure. However, small-sized piston compressors have only one cylinder, making them perfect for workshop applications.

Piston compressors are available in a power range from 1 HP to approximately 30 HP. They are widely used for intermittent general-purpose applications, such as workshop or garage compressors, where the compressed air is used for hand tools, dust cleaning, small paint jobs, etc.

Discover below the different brands of piston compressors available at Comairco.

Corken

Our conventional vertical reciprocating compressor model is a single packed compressor.
